Welcome to InsightMood. By downloading, installing, or using the InsightMood application (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Service Description

InsightMood is a personal emotion tracking application that provides AI-assisted analysis to help you understand your emotional patterns. The App allows you to log your emotions, view trends over time, and receive AI-generated insights.

AI Output Disclaimer: The AI-generated analysis, insights, predictions, and recommendations provided by InsightMood may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. AI outputs are produced by automated systems and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any decision. Always use your own judgement when interpreting AI-generated content.
Important Medical Disclaimer: InsightMood is not a medical device. The AI analysis provided does not constitute psychological counselling, medical diagnosis, or treatment advice. The App is intended for personal self-reflection only. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or have concerns about your mental health, please contact a qualified healthcare professional or your local emergency services immediately.

2. No Professional Advice

Nothing in the App — including AI-generated insights, emotional analysis, weekly reports, predictive insights, and any other content — constitutes medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, financial, or any other form of professional advice. The App is designed solely as a personal self-reflection tool. You should not act or refrain from acting based on information provided by the App without first seeking independent professional advice appropriate to your situation.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account. The App enforces a single-device login policy; signing in on a new device will sign you out of any previously active session.

InsightMood offers a free tier with basic features and a Premium subscription with additional capabilities including advanced AI analysis styles, extended insights, and more.

Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. We do not process refunds directly.

You may delete your account at any time from within the App (Settings > Delete Account). Upon deletion:

Important: Deleting your InsightMood account does not automatically cancel your Apple subscription. You must cancel your subscription separately in your Apple ID account settings (Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions) to avoid continued billing.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in activity that is harmful to other users or our services. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before taking such action, except where immediate action is required to protect the service or comply with legal obligations.

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms within the App. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay results from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, internet or infrastructure outages, pandemics, or third-party service disruptions.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and InsightMood regarding your use of the App, and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, proposals, and agreements, whether oral or written.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the Province of Alberta, Canada.
